This month, we had the opportunity to partner with registered dietician Laura Weisberg. We asked about some of her favorite fall foods that can help boost brain health, which is included in the booklet in the September Happy Harvest box.
Some of her answers?
1. Pumpkins and pumpkin seeds contain micronutrients like zinc, which helps with nerve signaling, and magnesium, essential for learning and memory
2. Eggplant increases blood flow to the brain and can help improve our mood
3. Pears contain a lot of fiber, which decreases inflammation and promotes good gut bacteria
And there you have it! Three fall foods that can help your brain.
